FSA Elections: nominations now open

Nominations are now open for President and Vice-President positions on the Faculty and Staff Association Board of Directors. Nominations must be received by the FSA Office by close of nominations on Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at Noon.
Nomination forms and the elections schedule are available by download and at the FSA offices (SE16 116). If members have any questions about the positions, please contact Colin Jones, FSA Returning Officer.
Term of Service
Term of service for the President and Vice-President positions are from June 1, 2012–May 31, 2014.
Time Commitment
- Daily duties in the running of the FSA Office and carrying out the affairs of the Association on behalf of the Board of Directors
- One five-hour meeting per month (Aug-June), plus additional time for general duties and projects assigned by the Board of Directors
- One half day training session
- Two day-long Policy meetings are scheduled for Saturdays each year

Eligibility
- Full FSA members are eligible to be a candidate for both positions.
- Associate FSA Members (this includes all current Part-time Studies Instructors, and Lab Assistants) are not eligible to be a candidate for any position.
- Adjunct FSA Members (Markers, Student Employees and Guest Lecturers) are not eligible to be a candidate for any position.
- All members may nominate and vote for all positions.
