FSA Bylaw Changes Approved in Impressive Fashion
Our meeting rooms in Town Square overflowed with FSA members hoping to attend the January 25th General Member meeting. Once inside, more than 150 members would unanimously pass a number of recommended changes to our society’s bylaws. The majority were housekeeping items, however a significant equity amendment to the bylaws, accommodating member voting at hybrid and online meetings, was also passed. These changes bring our organization in to line with newly established precedents for BC-registered Non-profit Societies. The changes are available in the Bylaw Section of our website.
Kudos to the membership for showing up at a GM in numbers larger than any staff member can recall. Well done, FSAers!
