As many of you will know already, after 12 years of contributing his knowledge, expertise, insights, and humour to the FSA, Executive Director Paul Reniers is moving on (well, up) to a position with MoveUP. It is with a heavy (collective) heart that we say goodbye to Paul and thank him for his tireless work and dedication to our union. You can read our full farewell message to Paul in the October 2018 edition of the FSA Voice.
The FSA is so pleased to announce that effective November 1, 2018, Jude Morrison will be moving into the Executive Director position on an interim basis while the FSA’s Board of Directors prepares a search process for the permanent role.
Jude Morrison joined the FSA in March 2018. She has been active in the union movement since the mid-eighties. Her formal work experience with unions commenced over 25 years ago in the post-secondary sector. Since then, she has worked for a variety of unions representing members in private and public sectors, predominantly in the healthcare and post-secondary sectors. She has also worked in a senior leadership role within the healthcare sector.
Jude is passionate about human rights and education. Her current volunteer work represents a fusion of these two interests: she is currently a founding board member of Dignity Seniors’ Society and volunteers with the Rainbow Refugee Society.Leave a reply →
