Update: FSA Board of Directors

On July 1, 2026, the FSA welcomed a new Director-at-Large to our Board. Ron Tuck (Geomatics Inventory Management Coordinator) has an impressive record of union involvement and member advocacy. Ron has served as a Tech Rep since joining the FSA and previously participated in the BCGEU Support Staff local at BCIT. He has also represented members through service on the FSA’s Collective Agreement Committee and Job Action Committee.
“Ron’s exemplary record will be a tremendous asset to our Board of Directors,” said FSA Executive Director Doug Thorpe-Dorward. “He brings valuable experience, strong member advocacy, and a deep commitment to representing our membership.”
Ron fills a vacancy created by the resignation of Kerly Acosta-Hitchcock, who joined the FSA Board of Directors in 2025. We extend our sincere thanks to Kerly for her service to her colleagues and contributions to our Board.
