Round 20, Bargaining Dispatch XIV: FSA Members Ratify Tentative Agreement with the Employer

FSA members have ratified the 2025-29 Tentative Collective Agreement, which was unanimously recommended by your Board of Directors and Bargaining Team. Ratification voting took place online from May 6 to May 14, 2026. An overwhelming 94.8% of participants voted in favour of the contract. The improvements to your benefits, outlined in the Summary of the Tentative Agreement, will take effect on July 1, 2026. During the course of the ratification vote, the FSA identified some gaps in the member report provided by BCIT. We will work internally and with BCIT to improve processes going forward. The issues identified did not affect the outcome nor integrity of the vote. Please reach out if you have questions or concerns.
