Thank you for participating on an FSA appointed committee. The FSA values and appreciates the contribution you have made on the committee and the time commitment you have given in this important role.

FSA policy (1.5.1) instructs us to review committee placements on an annual basis. The FSA’s goal is to stay connected to its representatives and ensure committees are performing optimally.  We are looking for FSA representatives who understand that their role is to represent all FSA members, their union and the BCIT community.

We ask that all members complete the Committee Report Form on this page. Please complete a separate report for each committee you sit on.

The FSA seeks to stay connected to all their committees. This report serves three purposes:

  1. It provides an avenue to ensure committees are functioning well, representing both the Union and your colleagues.
  2. It allows the FSA to connect with committee members and to provide support and education on the importance of committee membership.
  3. Ensures members on committees understand and meet their responsibilities.

All information is for FSA office only and will only be seen by the FSA Board and staff. In the appointment review process, we are looking for FSA members who understand they represent their Union and the BCIT community. All reports are kept confidential and will only be seen by the FSA Board and staff. Information from the reports may be used in aggregate to address issues or concerns or to report out to FSA membership.
