Performance Development System (PDS) Open Forums

    Members Consultation

You are invited to an open forum session to discuss the Performance Development System (PDS).

The PDS has been used by Instructors, Assistant Instructors, and Non-Instructional FSA members since 2003.  Many FSA members have been “grandparented” into their own departmental performance review systems, however I encourage all FSA members to participate in this very important and timely discussion.

The purpose of this forum is to gain clarity and better understand the current process and how the PDS can better serve the members as a growth opportunity, and to see if the PDS can tie into the BCIT Teaching Excellence Strategy which is currently under development.

I started the PDS Coordinator role June 15, 2014 and I look forward to meeting with you and capturing your ideas, feedback, issues, etc. that have been experienced by you or others in your area.

There are 3 one-hour time slots (1:30pm, 2:30pm, & 3:30pm) scheduled on Wednesday Dec 3rd to allow optimal attendance by all FSA members.

All sessions will take place in SW03-2715

Please RSVP (below) if you intend to join us for one of these sessions so that we can properly prepare for the number of attendees.

Judy Shandler, FSA Member, PDS Coordinator

Registration for these sessions is now closed.

Watch for additional sessions to be scheduled in 2015.
