    FSA Statement: Recent Campus Incidents

As per a news statement released by Kathy Kinloch, BCIT President, on February 2nd we want to encourage any FSA members and their colleagues who have information about or were impacted by the voyeurism incidents that took place on campus in fall 2015 to reach out to Burnaby RCMP Constable Clint Paisley (604-646-3245).

Safety for all workers is of paramount concern to the FSA. We will do what we can to support any member who experienced a violation of their own safety and security or witnessed a risk to the safety and security of a colleague, a student, or any other member of the BCIT community. The FSA will work with BCIT’s leadership to ensure that measures are in place to protect the safety and security of our members and others on campus and to provide for safe and supportive reporting structures when something goes wrong. Together we can make our workplaces healthy and safe places for everyone.
